Mind Health Info
Healthy Beings offers FDA approved technologies for the healing of the MIND. Repetitive TMS is a noninvasive form of brain stimulation used for depression and anxiety. The Theta Chamber Technology allows for rapid and complete recovery from depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addictions. Together they are a unique combination for healing the mind.
We offer you two services that help with the learning and healing signals of the brain, specifically the hypothalamus to return to producing normal levels of serotonin, dopamine, and other neurotransmitters. These effects helps the healing of the Brain.
The Theta Chamber is designed to induce a persons’ brainwave activity into a wavelength scientifically referred to as “Theta State.” This is a state of relaxation that is well known to everyone as the drowsy, abstract sensation that one feels as they are falling asleep. This allows the brain to take the majority of its focus off of sensory perception and conscious thought, to withdraw into the more profound regions of mental activity that we now know as the bio-magnetic field. In this state, the task of “reprogramming” or “remapping” can be achieved. At Healthy Beings, our scientific approach to holistic brain health combines multiple, cutting-edge treatments to give you the best possible results.
Benefits of Theta Chamber
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS)
Transcranial magnetic stimulation, or TMS, is a noninvasive form of brain stimulation. TMS devices operate completely outside of the body and affect central nervous system activity by applying powerful magnetic fields to specific areas of the brain that we know are involved in depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD and PTSD.
TMS therapy is an intensive treatment option requiring sessions that occur five days a week for several weeks. Each session may last anywhere from 20 to 50 minutes, depending on the device and clinical protocol being use. When patients arrive, they may briefly check in with a technician or doctor and then begin the stimulation process.
